Server rules
Command Squad runs servers for more than one game, and each game has its own enforceable ruleset. The standards on this page apply everywhere — in every server, in Discord, in every interaction with our staff. Last reviewed: September 8, 2026.
Rules for your game
Pick the game you are playing. Each ruleset is authoritative for its own servers — the Squad rules do not apply on a WARDOGS server, and vice versa.

Network-wide standards
These apply on every Command Squad server, in every game we support, and they are the floor rather than the whole rulebook. Your game's rules page adds the specifics.
- Respect and conduct. Hate speech, racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, or targeted harassment of any kind is prohibited — including slurs, mocking accents, and offensive names, tags, squad names or music. Zero tolerance.
- No cheating or exploit abuse. Cheats, hacks, lag switching, and deliberate abuse of known bugs or exploits result in a permanent ban.
- No ghosting or intel sharing. Do not pass information to another team, by any means. Streamers are welcome with a covered map and a 10-minute delay.
- No griefing, trolling, or sabotage. Deliberately disrupting your own team — teamkilling, destroying friendly assets, blocking, mic and text spam — is actionable everywhere.
- Communicate and cooperate. These are teamplay servers. You are not required to be good; you are expected to try, listen, and work with your team.
- Cooperate with admins. Follow admin direction in the moment. If you think a decision was wrong, appeal it afterwards — arguing mid-match helps nobody.
- No advertising or impersonation. No unauthorised recruitment or promotion, and no impersonating Command Squad members or using our tags.
- Use common sense. Rules are enforced on intent, context and history. Looking for loopholes is itself a red flag.
How we enforce
- Admin discretion (Rule 0). Any behaviour harmful to the health of a server or the community may result in administrative action, up to a permanent ban — including things no rule anticipated.
- Intent and context matter. An accidental teamkill and a deliberate one are not the same thing, and we do not treat them the same way.
- Evidence helps. Reports with a clear description, time, server and (ideally) a clip get resolved faster and more fairly.
- Support never buys exemption. Members, supporters, whitelisted players and staff are held to these rules exactly as everyone else is.
- Appeals exist. Every action can be appealed through the player support pathway.
Discord Rules
These rules apply to all Command Squad Discord channels at all times.
- Be respectful. Treat all members with respect. Harassment, bullying, flame-baiting, or dogpiling — public or private — will not be tolerated.
- Keep profiles appropriate. Usernames, nicknames, avatars, and bios must be appropriate and non-offensive. Staff may request changes if necessary.
- No spam or disruptive behavior. Spamming, excessive tagging, message flooding, mic spam, or intentionally disruptive behavior is not allowed.
- Do not DM or @ staff without reason. Do not directly message or mass-mention staff unless explicitly instructed. Use the proper ticket or support channels for issues.
- No self-promotion or advertising. Unapproved promotions, server invites, streams, or advertisements are not allowed.
- Protect privacy. Do not share personal or private information — yours or anyone else's — without consent.
- Zero tolerance for hate or harassment. Hate speech, slurs, threats, or targeted harassment will result in immediate action.
- No political or religious debates. Political and religious topics are not permitted. This is a gaming community, not a debate stage.
- No NSFW or illegal content. Sexual, NSFW, pirated, malicious, or otherwise suspicious content is strictly prohibited.
- Use common sense. Rules are enforced based on intent, context, and history. Attempting to loophole the rules will not end well.
