The servers are the venue; the community is the point. Everything here is opt-in — play anonymously forever if you like, or plug in as deep as you want. This is what's on offer.
Discord
Everything coordinates through the Command Squad Discord (external link): seeding calls, event signups, player support tickets, LFG, clips, and the running conversation that makes a server network feel like a place. It has its own short ruleset — same spirit as the servers.
Programs
Seeding & recognition
Seeders keep the servers alive, and the community treats them accordingly: automated seeding whitelists for consistent contributors, plus monthly seeder recognition and giveaways announced in Discord.
Mentoring
Regulars who teach — new players learning the game, first-time squad leaders finding their feet, crews learning vehicles. Informal today, with a structured Squad Leader Development Program planned on the roadmap.
Events
Organized operations and special game nights, with competitive play on the roadmap. Events are open — membership never required to participate.
Command Briefings
The recurring community update: server news, roadmap progress, recognitions, and what's next. Published on this site and announced in Discord.
Membership & ranks
For regulars who want to be part of the structure itself: the ☆CMD probationary tag, full ★CMD membership, member votes, and member-only programs like statistics tracking.
The public roadmap
Development in the open — what shipped, what's being built, what's under review. Community feedback feeds it; server health decides it.
Contributions that count
- Seed when the call goes out — ten minutes at 8v8 outweighs an hour at prime time
- Take the SL kit on a slow night and let people practice under you
- Welcome the player who says "I'm new" — that's how this place recruits
- Report problems through the pathway instead of all-chat arguments
- Give feedback on the roadmap items in Discord
