Welcome to the New commandsquad.net

The Command Squad website has been rebuilt — a full guides library, complete rules page, improved roadmap and support, and a new home for Intel.

If you’ve been here before, you’ve noticed: the website grew. A lot. Here’s the tour of what’s new and where things moved.

What’s new

A full guide library. Fourteen guides at launch, covering everything from your first match to squad leading, plus a structured FAQ. They’re written to be useful to any Squad player, not just our regulars — if you find them helpful, that’s the idea working.

The rules, on the web, in full. The complete current ruleset with anchors you can link in chat, and a companion Rules Explained guide covering the intent behind the rules players ask about most.

Server pages that earn their place. Servers covers both full-time servers, expectations, and connection help — and the Play site remains the fastest way in-game.

Intel — this section — is the new home for news, event announcements and recaps, and the Command Briefing archive. There’s an RSS feed if you’re into that.

Improved, not just repainted

The roadmap carries over every operation from the old board — now data-driven, so counts and dates are real rather than decorative. The support page keeps its principles (seeding first, no pay-to-win, one-time or Patreon options) with clearer answers about where funding goes. And About finally says at length what we’re about.

Under the hood, briefly

The site is faster, works fully without JavaScript, meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, and every page is built for search — because half the point of the guides is being findable by players who’ve never heard of us.

Old links redirect to their new homes. Spot something broken, wrong, or missing? Tell us in the Discord — the website is community infrastructure like everything else we run, and reports make it better.

See you on the server: play.commandsquad.net.
