Command Squad Field Manual
Squad Training Videos
Command Squad's staff-reviewed Squad training video library — curated, credited, privacy-conscious, with written key takeaways for every entry.
Some things are easier to watch than read — vehicle handling, map movement, what good comms actually sound like. This page hosts our curated video library, and it operates on three standing rules:
- Every video is reviewed by staff before it appears here — for current accuracy, instructional quality, and fit with how we play. Third-party videos belong to their creators; we link and credit rather than claim.
- Videos load from YouTube only when you activate them (privacy-enhanced mode). Until you press play, no request leaves this site, and every entry carries a plain link to watch on YouTube directly.
- Written key takeaways accompany each video, so the lesson survives even if you skip the video — nothing essential on this site lives only inside a video.
The first reviewed collection is being assembled now. Rather than publish an unvetted list, we’re running candidates through the review process first — check back, or watch the Discord for the announcement. Want to nominate a video (or your own)? Post it in Discord.
Until then, the written fundamentals cover the same ground:
- New Player Guide — the complete from-zero walkthrough
- Communication guide — channels, callouts, and radio manners
- Squad leading guide — the cornerstone leadership guide
- Roles and vehicles — kits, crewing, and etiquette
Official sources are also worth knowing: Offworld Industries publishes tutorials and update breakdowns on the official Squad site, and the in-game training range (Jensen’s Range) is the best hands-on classroom there is.
